Where is the annual conference taking place?

The annual conference will take place at the Marriott Marquis Hotel on the M4 Level. The Marriott Marquis is located at 901 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington, DC. Click here for more information on the meeting location.

How can I register?

Visit www.2019conference@civilrights.org and register by November 29, 2019.  

What is the cost to attend?

There is no cost to attend the annual conference; however, only members of The Leadership Conference and their invited guests are allowed to attend. ALL attendees must register to attend. 

Can I attend everything listed for the two days?

Yes! Those who register can attend all public events.

Do I have to attend all events for the two days?

No, but we hope you do. You can select the events you would like to attend when you register.

What’s the best way for me to get to the Marriott Marquis?

If traveling by air, Reagan National Airport is less than 5 miles from the Marriott Marquis. Other airports include Washington Dulles International Airport (28 miles) and the Baltimore Washington International Airport (32 miles). If traveling by rail, Amtrak Union Station is less than 2 miles from the meeting site.

Is parking available at the hotel or nearby?

Due to limited parking, we encourage attendees to take public transportation or taxis to the meeting location. The Marriott Marquis is located three blocks from the Mount Vernon/7th Street Convention Center metro station (green/yellow line). The hotel does offer on-site valet parking for $51/day.

How will I get accommodations at the conference?

We are making every effort to ensure our space and programming is accessible and inclusive for everyone. Please request any accommodations needed  on your registration form or email 2019conference@civilrights.org to make your request known. 

I have dietary restrictions. How can I communicate this?

Please indicate your dietary restriction and allergies on the registration form. We will make every effort to accommodate special requests.

When will the final agenda be released?

We will be updating the schedule and agenda on a regular basis as speakers and presentations are finalized and will send updates to registrants via email. 

What materials should I bring to the conference?

Guests are welcome to bring laptops, tablets, and mobile phones to the conference. We will provide basic meeting supplies and agendas on site.
